Join the Clinton County Dems Kick Cancer (CCDKC) Relay For Life Team for a crafty and fun fundraiser on October 13 from 2-4 p.m.
During the autumn-themed “Handmade Happy Hour” at The Potter’s Palette, 105 E. Main St., participants will choose a blank ceramic item to paint with glaze. Once the pieces are painted, the staff at The Potter’s Palette will fire them in their kiln, and participants will return at their convenience to pick up the finished product!
The cost depends on the item selected.
“These special fundraisers are always so much fun,” said Roxanne Embick, co-chair of the CCDKC Relay For Life Team. “No matter your skill level, it’s exciting to come together and unleash your creative side for a good cause.”
Embick noted the large array of ceramic objects available for selection — from seasonal and holiday themed items such as pumpkins, turkeys and Christmas trees, to your favorite animal or a traditional dishware.
