Those interested in hearing from candidates seeking to become the next Clinton County Commissioners are invited to attend the Clinton County Commissioner Candidate Political Forum being held by The Express on October 30.
Democrats Angela Harding and Paul Conklin, who both received their party’s nomination in the spring primary election, will both be present for the forum.
The event will take place at The Elks Lodge, 2nd floor ballroom, at 216 E. Main St., Lock Haven. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the forum begins at 6 p.m.
According to The Express, the event format will allow each candidate to provide opening remarks, and then they will each be asked the same question on rotation. Candidates will have up to two minutes to answer the questions.
Express staff and a moderator ask the questions.
Topics will range from county government operations and responsibilities, to economic development, quality of life, budgeting and taxes, among others.
Interested in submitting a question?
Before the forum begins on October 30, the audience may submit questions on index cards for consideration. Staff from The Express will collect the index cards.
