- Are you a phone person?
- Do you enjoy talking with people face to face about issues that matter to you?
- Maybe you’re a college student looking for resume-worthy experience?
- Or, perhaps you’re a high schooler with a passion for making a difference?
If you said, “Yes, that’s me.” to any of the questions above, consider volunteering some of your time to the Marc Friedenberg for Congress campaign.
There are ways for everyone to get involved. And volunteering can fit your schedule, even if you only have an hour at a time.
The Clinton County Democratic Committee (CCDC) will be working with Marc for PA to coordinate regular canvassing and phone banking events from now through May 21, a.k.a. Special Election Day!!
This election is IMPORTANT!
It’s not “just” a Primary that will move Marc onto the November ballot. It’s the actual election. It will determine who will represent the 12th Congressional District for the remainder of the 6-year term vacated by our most recent Congressman.
And this is how you can make a difference!
1. Sign up to volunteer with the CCDC today!
Sign up for the next Marc for PA outreach event to help us prepare materials in advance. We’ll be canvassing and phone banking starting on March 23 and continuing each Saturday through the Election!
During these scheduled events, you can make calls or knock on doors to talk to voters in the 12th District and urge them to turn out on May 21. It can be for one hour … or many hours. Your call!
2. If you’re a college student, become a Friedenberg Fellow!
This is the perfect way to gain hands-on experience helping the campaign (and build out your growing resume!). Visit marcforpa.com/fellowship for details, or download this flyer to learn more. Then, email your resume to Jess Chase, field organizer, at jess@marcforpa.com.
3. High School students can apply for an internship, too!
Fight for the issues that matter most to you by fighting for Marc! Learn more about how to get involved by downloading this flyer. Then, email your resume to Jess Chase, field organizer, at jess@marcforpa.com.
So, if you haven’t already, take a moment to meet Marc: https://marcforpa.com/meet-marc/. Then reach out and get involved.
