Democrats support Mike Hanna Jr. with ‘Sip & Dip’ fundraiser

Democrats from Clinton County had fun and crafted artwork while making a difference during a Sip & Dip Fundraiser held on Saturday, October 20.

The fundraiser, held at The Potter’s Palette in downtown Lock Haven, benefited the campaign of Mike Hanna Jr., Democratic nominee for state representative in the 76th House District.

For just $35 each, attendees received painting instruction and all necessary supplies – and $15 went directly to Mike’s campaign.

In addition to the 11 people who turned out to participate, others contributed monetary donations ahead of the event, noted Pat Hancock, Democratic Committeewoman from Bald Eagle Township, who organized the event on behalf of the Clinton County Democratic Committee.

“We raised $280 for Mike,” Hancock announced.

“Special thanks to those who came out and supported this fundraiser for Mike’s campaign. Every bit makes a difference and this was a great opportunity to have fun while making a personal contribution to a local candidate. Not only were participants able to do that, they were able to take something home with them by way of their new painting!” added Chairwoman Rose Reeder, who was one of the participants. “Thanks also goes out to Pat Hancock for her hard work organizing this great event and her dedication to the Democratic Party.”

Reeder noted that the CCDC in September also approved a monetary donation of $1,000, in addition to an in-kind donation of up to $800 to cover rent for two months at the Mike Hanna Jr. Campaign Office/ Democratic Campaign Headquarters on Bellefonte Avenue. The CCDC also contributed $500 to Mike Hanna Jr.’s campaign in May.
