Reservations due by September 22
The Clinton County Democratic Committee will hold an informal, outdoor Fall Cookout on Thursday, September 29 at Riverview Park. All county Democrats and those wishing to learn more about the local party are invited to attend.
The event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and feature a cookout-style meal and speakers, including hamburgers and hotdogs, as well as a silent auction.
“Our party has not held our traditional Spring Dinner or Fall Picnic events since 2019 due to the pandemic. This year’s event will be a little different, featuring your typical cookout menu and held outdoors, in hopes that we can finally gather together and have a social event that brings together our party and candidates for office,” said William H. Mincer, chairman of the Clinton County Democratic Committee (CCDC). “Typically, there is a fee to attend our dinners and picnics, as they serve as our primary fundraisers. However, this event will be free, with donations accepted.”
Candidates at the local, state and national level have been invited to attend.
Guests are invited to sign up to bring desserts for a potluck component following the main course. The CCDC is also accepting donations for the silent auction.
The cookout will be held at Riverview Park, located on West River Drive, Lock Haven (Woodward Township), PA 17745.
Reservations are due by September 22. To make a reservation or learn more about making a donation toward the silent auction, email Kim Coleman, CCDC Co-Vice Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 570-660-1555.
