Clinton County Democrats celebrate opening of 2022 headquarters

On Thursday, July 7, the Clinton County Democratic Committee and dozens of Democrats from across the county gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the party’s 2022 campaign headquarters.

The office is located at 507-509 E. Main St. in Lock Haven, in the former East Main Street Methodist Church, and will be open 12-6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays through Election Day (November 8).

William H. Mincer, chair of the CCDC, welcomed guests and served as emcee for the event. He welcomed local elected officials, including Clinton County Commissioner Angela Harding and Lock Haven Mayor Joel Long, as well as candidates. Denise Maris, Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 76th Legislative District, and representatives from the campaigns for U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman (current PA Lieutenant Governor) and PA Governor candidate Josh Shapiro (current PA Attorney General) all spoke to attendees.

Maris was the one to officially cut the ribbon on the new office space, surrounded by local elected officials and members of the CCDC. She spoke about her efforts to meet with voters of all political persuasions to help them understand what her campaign is fighting truly for and how she intends to serve them.

Rose Reeder, former CCDC chair, and her husband Dan, former PA Dems Committeeman from Clinton County, were recognized for their service to the party.
