Clinton County Democratic Committee reorganizes, welcomes new chair

On June 9, 2022, the members of the Clinton County Democratic Committee (CCDC) who were elected during the primary and were certified by the Clinton County Board of Elections met to reorganize the committee, as required by the CCDC Bylaws.

During the reorganization meeting, new officers were elected — including our new chair, Bill Mincer.

Mincer, a resident of Lock Haven 4th Ward, previously served as a City Councilman and currently serves as the City Controller. He is the Director of Sports Camps at Penn State University. Special thanks to Rose Reeder for her years of dedicated service as CCDC chair.

Other officers include: Kim Coleman, Co-Vice Chair; Adam Coleman, Co-Vice Chair; Lauri Schaitkin, Treasurer; and LaKeshia Knarr, Secretary.

Rich Fitzgerald was elected as the new State Committeeman representing Clinton County on the PA Democratic Committee. Special thanks to Dan Reeder for his years of dedication to the party, particularly the last four as State Committeeman for Clinton County.

Regional Representatives to the CCDC Executive Committee will be determined at the regular CCDC meeting on June 23 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the 2022 CCDC campaign office at 507-509 East Main Street in Lock Haven.

The Committee page of the CCDC website will soon be updated to reflect the committee members elected in the Primary who have agreed to serve as well as those who have been appointed to fill a vacancy following the Primary.
