A forum being held on October 22 will feature candidates seeking to become Clinton County Commissioners and Lock Haven City Mayor.
This Candidates’ Forum, being held by the Clinton County Christian Coalition, will take place on Tuesday, October 22, from 7-9 p.m. It will be held in the large courtroom at the Clinton County Courthouse, 230 E. Water St.
The event will feature all four candidates running to fill the three commissioner seats, including Democrats Angela Harding and Paul Conklin.



It will also feature both candidates seeking to become mayor of Lock Haven, including Democrat Joel Long.
Mayoral candidates will not be asked questions, but will be given an opportunity to address attendees.
According Patrick Johnson, chairman of the Coalition, the forum is a non-partisan event designed to help Coalition members and the public get to know the candidates better.
Candidates will each have three minutes for opening statements. Questions will follow. To cap of the evening, each candidate will be permitted two minutes for closing statements.
