All Democrats and individuals interested in learning more about the party or simply enjoying a good time are invited to attend a free Ice Cream Social being hosted by the Clinton County Democratic Party.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, at Triangle Park, located at the intersection of Main Street and Bellefonte Avenue in Lock Haven, across from the Post Office.
Aside from free ice cream and coverings, festivities will include music, games, speakers and more!
“This is the first time we’re holding a public ice cream social, and our goal is to engage with the community by offering a fun activity that people of all ages can come out to enjoy!” said Rose Reeder, Clinton County Democratic Committee chairwoman. “Guests are welcome to bring children, family and friends along!”
Candidates who attend will have an opportunity to speak around 12 noon.
Voter registration forms will also be available for those seeking to register before the October 7 deadline in order to vote in the Municipal Election on November 5.
