The Clinton County Dems Kick Cancer Relay For Life team will be having a fundraiser at Wendy’s in Lock Haven on Monday, December 3.
Plan to enjoy supper at Wendy’s and help the Clinton County Dems Kick Cancer.
The team will receive 10% of all sales from 5 to 8 p.m. This includes dine-in, take-out and drive-thru. All proceeds raised by the team will benefit The Clinton County American Cancer Society.
The Clinton County Dems Kick Cancer Relay For Life team is made up of cancer survivors, caregivers, and friends.
“We are a new team who is working hard to reach our fundraising goal of $2,000 by the Relay For Life event to be held on May 18, 2019,” said Roxanne Embick, team co-captain. “We encourage you to support all of the teams’ efforts to raise money for this very worthy cause.”
According to the American Cancer Society, “1 in 3 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. One of those people could be you or someone you love. That’s why we Relay. When you join a Relay For Life event, you’re helping the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking research, crucial patient care programs, and education and prevention information. When you Relay, you help save lives.”
