Governor Wolf attends Mike Hanna Jr. campaign office ribbon cutting

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf took a moment from his busy schedule on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, to stop off in Lock Haven as a special guest at the ribbon cutting ceremony for Mike Hanna Jr.’s campaign office.

Hanna is the Democratic candidate seeking to represent Pennsylvania’s 76th Legislative District, which includes Clinton and parts of Centre Counties. His new campaign office is located at 108 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven.

Governor Wolf said he enjoys visiting Lock Haven and applauded Hanna’s efforts to serve his community as a state representative. The Governor also commended Clinton County for its recent success in achieving 100% support from the county commissioners and all municipal boards for fair redistricting reform.

Mike Hanna Jr. welcomed attendees to his new campaign headquarters and briefly spoke about why he is running for office. He said he supports a gift ban for legislators as well as the concept of “no budget, no pay,” which would prevent legislators from being paid until they are able to pass a state budget.

Other event speakers included Mike Hanna Sr., current 76th District representative, and Rose Reeder, Clinton County Democratic Committee chairwoman.
