Save the Date: CCDC Fall Picnic is Sept. 20

Save the date for the Clinton County Democratic Committee’s Annual Fall Picnic, this year slated for Thursday, September 20.

The event will feature a social hour, live entertainment by Phil Reeder, a buffet dinner and speakers.

Kicking off with the social hour at 5 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. This year’s picnic will again be held at the Lock Haven Moose Club Family Center at 150 S. Hanna St. in Lock Haven.

“The dinners are always a fun time and they’re a great way for people to network with likeminded individuals, learn about local candidates and enjoy good food!” said party Chairwoman Rose Reeder.

This annual ticketed event serves as one of the primary fundraisers for the county Democratic Party and helps support local candidates. The cost to attend is $20 per person and reservations are due by September 14, 2018.

The menu will be catered by the Moose Club and will include ham and turkey barbecues, hot dogs, two slaws, macaroni salad, baked beans, chips and dessert. There will be a cash bar.

Soon a formal letter will be sent out to the CCDC mailing list and folks on the email contact list will receive further details about registering to attend the ticketed event.
