Mike Hanna Jr., Democratic candidate for the Pennsylvania House 76th District, will hold a “Kentucky Derby Reception” on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Sons & Daughters of Italy outdoor patio, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven, PA.
The fundraiser event is being planned to help prepare Hanna for the tough campaign ahead.
“We want to continue on the momentum we began in February. We turned in close to 900 petition signatures which is three times as many as needed!,” Hanna said. “Our fundraiser is the next step in the process.”
The Kentucky Derby Reception is open to the public and tickets will be sold at the door. The cost is $35 for an Individual ticket, $55 for a Couples ticket, or $100 for a Host ticket.
Hanna said jobs, public education and government reforms are the cornerstones of his campaign.
The Clinton County native is a 2001 graduate of Central Mountain High School and 2005 Lock Haven University graduate. Over the last decade, Hanna has held positions in both the legislative and executive branches of state government. For the past three years, he has served as Deputy Secretary of Legislative Affairs for the PA Governor’s Office.
