The 2024 election is critical.
Worker’s rights, veteran’s rights, women’s rights, environmental justice, social justice and so many other important issues are on the line. From the local level to the presidency, it’s more important than ever to get involved, in whatever capacity you can do so. Here are some ideas for how you can get involved and support Democrats seeking office.
- HELP SOMEONE REGISTER TO VOTE — Simply point them to VotesPA.com where they can register in seconds, so long as they will be 18 or older by the next election. Must register by Oct. 21 to be able to vote in the Nov. 5 General Election.
- VOTE IN EVERY ELECTION — Check back to ClintonCountyPaDemocrats.com for tips during each election — including Primaries and General Elections, and they take place every year! Different offices come up for election every year. You can always find info about who is seeking office on the Candidates page and find election dates or upcoming local events.
- JOIN YOUR LOCAL COMMITTEE — There are many vacancies on the Clinton County (PA) Democratic Committee as well as informal ways to support the Committee’s activities. This is the local chapter of the PA Dems and works to register voters, encourage turnout, and get Democrats elected. Making calls and dropping literature is just part of what you can do to support the effort and make likeminded friends. See what vacancies exist here. You can also contact us using the form below to learn more about sub-committees.
- MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION — Make a donation to support the Clinton County PA Democratic Committee / Party via ActBlue or PayPal, or you can mail a check to the CCDC at 2 Grape St., Lock Haven, PA 17745. You can also find direct donation options on individual candidates‘ websites.
Whether it’s volunteering for one hour a week, making a single donation, or an unseen act, each bit helps.
