Democrats interested in learning more about being a Poll Watcher during the November 8 Election are invited to attend a Poll Watchers Training Session being on Tuesday, October 25.
The session will begin at 7 p.m. and is expected to last approximately one hour.
Poll Watchers, sometimes called Poll Observers, are volunteers who help ensure election integrity at precinct polling locations on Election Day. Their observations also support final Get Out The Vote efforts.
During the training session on October 25, people can learn more about the tasks associated with being a Poll Watcher and how to report potential issues that may arise. A short video will be shown and additional local resources will be provided. In addition, guests will be able to ask questions.
The training session is being held by the Clinton County Democratic Committee at the Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 507-509 E. Main St., Lock Haven.
