On September 29, the Clinton County Democratic Committee (CCDC) held a Fall Cookout, bringing together Democrats from across the county and beyond.
Event speakers included Mike Molesevich, nominee for Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District; Denise Maris, running for State Representative in Pennsylvania’s 76th District; Centre County Commissioner Mark Higgins, who spoke on behalf of the Josh Shapiro campaign as well as the John Fetterman campaign; and Clinton County Commissioner Angela Harding. Each of the speakers pointed to varying reasons why this election is so critical.
Attendees enjoyed traditional cookout fare as well as sides and desserts prepared by other participants. A silent auction was also held as part of the festivities to help raise funds for the CCDC, which is supporting candidates’ campaigns through phone banking, canvassing and advertisements.
“Thanks to all the Democrats who came out to support the party and learn more about our candidates,” said CCDC Chairman William Mincer.
