Clinton County recently purchased new voting machines.
The process will be quite different than in the past, with voters now using paper ballots and filling in circles for their selections — much like a modern-day standardized test.
The paper ballots will be entered into a machine for counting.
Those interested in learning about and seeing how the new system will work are encouraged to get to one of the demonstrations being held by the Clinton County Voter Registration & Elections Office prior to the November 5 Municipal Election.
Although the office had scheduled more than a dozen demonstrations at various community events over the past two months, there are only a few more scheduled opportunities to do so.
