Democrats turned out on Thursday, September 12 for the Clinton County Democratic Committee’s annual Fall Picnic.
Held at the Dunnstown Fire Hall, this year’s picnic focused on county and municipal candidates, and attendees also had a chance to hear about two Democrats seeking election to the PA Superior Court on Nov. 5.
Speakers included Marie Vilello, prothonotary; Dave Strouse, district attorney; Kerry Stover, sheriff; Angela Harding, commissioner; Bill Mincer and Richard Morris, city council; and Joel Long, city mayor. Diane Gregg spoke on behalf of Superior Court candidates Amanda Green-Hawkins and Daniel McCaffery.
Local Democratic Party Chairwoman Rose Reeder welcomed the attendees to the event.
The picnic kicked off with a social hour and light music. In addition to the dinner, the event also featured a silent auction and opportunities for attendees to learn more about candidates on the ballot.
