Kay Fetzer of Pine Creek area was the winner of the Sheetz Gift Card Drawing offered by the Clinton County Democratic Committee at the 2019 Clinton County Fair.
County Democrats volunteered at a CCDC booth at the fairgrounds July 27 through August 3, where they spoke to community members about Democratic candidates seeking office this year, helped people register to vote, and played American trivia games with youth.
Democratic candidates seeking countywide and municipal offices came out to meet county residents and rode on the CCDC’s float in the fair parade.
The CCDC offers a $100 Sheetz Gift Card Drawing that is free to enter at the fair and this year over 350 tickets were entered into the contest. After learning that she won the drawing, Fetzer met with CCDC Chairwoman Rose Reeder and state Democratic Committeeman from Clinton County Dan Reeder to receive her prize award.
Chairwoman Reeder thanked Fetzer for stopping by the table to enter the drawing and said the party hopes to “spread a little cheer” with the giveaway.
Fetzer was shocked to have won, noting she won another drawing from a different fair booth as well!
The CCDC thanks all of the volunteers who spent time at the CCDC fair table and those who entered the Sheetz Gift Card Drawing.
