Join Marc Friedenberg on May 11 to help get out the vote!

Marc Friedenberg, the Democratic nominee for the vacant 12th Congressional District seat, will be canvassing in Lock Haven this coming Saturday, May 11.

Come out and volunteer with Marc to help encourage voter turnout on May 21!

Volunteers will meet at Avenue 209, 209 Bellefonte Ave., Lock Haven, at noon. Participants can work in teams or solo, and may choose to make phone calls or knock on doors.

The goal is to make people aware of the Special Election on May 21, which will determine who represents Pennsylvania’s 12th District in the United States House of Representatives.

“This is a fun and interactive way to make a difference in this upcoming local election,” said Roxanne Embick, who in addition to helping coordinate volunteers for Saturday canvassing also serves on the Democratic Committee as Wayne Township’s committeewoman and on the Clinton County Democratic Women as treasurer. “We strive to make the outreach lists very manageable. First time volunteers to seasoned ones are welcome and encouraged to get involved. There are less than two weeks left until the election, so now is the time to motivate people to come out on May 21. Every vote will count!”

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up by reaching out to Roxanne at rembick@gmail.com.
