Richard Morris will seek the Democratic nomination to retain a seat on Lock Haven City Council.
Morris was appointed last year following the death of Jonathon Bravard.
A long-standing observer of local issues at the city and county level, Morris is dedicated to ensuring truth and transparency in government, promoting the city as an attractive place to live and work and developing the tax base in order to ease the burden on the individual taxpayer.
Morris holds degrees from the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford in England and has lived for over a decade in Sunset Pines.
A retired real estate agent, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Clinton County Housing Coalition.
He also volunteers at the Clinton County Historical Society and the Clinton County Arts Council. He is the overwhelmingly proud father of two adult daughters.
Note: The Clinton County Democratic Committee does not endorse candidates, but makes every effort to help evenhandedly publicize individuals seeking the Democratic nomination or running on the Democratic ticket. We embrace the will of the people following the Primary Election and wholeheartedly support the nominees selected in the election process.
