Charmaine Conoway is the lucky winner of the Sheetz Gift Card Drawing offered by the Clinton County Democratic Committee at the 2018 Clinton County Fair.
County Democrats volunteered at a CCDC booth at the fairgrounds July 28 through Aug. 4, where they spoke to community members about Democratic candidates seeking office this year, helped people register to vote, and played American trivia games with youth. Democratic candidates Marc Friedenberg (seeking to represent PA’s 12th Congressional District) and Mike Hanna Jr. (bidding to represent the PA 76th Legislative District) came out to meet county residents and rode on the CCDC’s float in the fair parade.
The CCDC offers a $100 Sheetz Gift Card Drawing that is free to enter at the fair and this year over 300 tickets were entered into the contest.
Charmaine Conoway was the lucky winner and she recently met with a group of CCDC members and volunteers to receive her prize award.
CCDC Chairwoman Rose Reeder thanked Conoway for stopping by the table to enter the drawing and said the party hopes to “spread a little cheer” with the giveaway.
“I just want to thank the Democratic Committee for this gift card prize,” said Conoway.
The CCDC thanks all of the volunteers who spent time at the CCDC fair table and those who entered the Sheetz Gift Card Drawing.
