Candidates

In 2025, Clinton County residents will be able to vote for representation through several elected positions, including state judicial races and many local offices.

The Clinton County Democratic Committee is committed to fairly promoting all Democrats seeking office and endorses candidates who win the majority vote in the Primary Election.

Note: All local offices listed below are based on preliminary information. Municipalities have until February 18 to report open offices to the County Elections Office.


PA SUPREME COURT JUSTICE

Three judges who won elections in 2015 are running for retention elections. Vote “Yes” to retain the following Justices:

JUDGE OF THE SUPERIOR COURT OF PENNSYLVANIA

Alice B. Dubow became a judge of the Pennsylvania Superior Court on January 15, 2016. She is up for retention vote on November 4. Vote YES to retain.

Brandon Neuman is running in the special general election for Pennsylvania Superior Court on November 4, 2025. Neuman advanced from the special Democratic primary on May 20.


JUDGE OF THE COMMONWEALTH COURT

Michael Wojcik assumed office as a judge of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court in 2016. He is up for retention vote on November 4. Vote YES to retain!

Stella Tsai is running in the special general election for Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court on November 4, 2025. Tsai advanced from the special Democratic primary on May 20.


CLINTON COUNTY ROW OFFICES

Treasurer

(Vote for One) 4 year term.

Coroner

(Vote for One) 4 year term.

Zach Hanna is seeking the Democratic nomination to serve his fifth term as Coroner for Clinton County. A 2003 graduate of Central Mountain High School, Hanna is a 2008 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He previously worked as Deputy Coroner and Office Manager under predecessor Donald Walker. Hanna has conducted and/or overseen more than 700 death investigations since taking office as coroner in 2014.

Keystone Central School District

Megan Houser is seeking the Democratic nomination to become a School Director for Keystone Central School District Region IX. Raised in Farwell and now residing in North Bend with her husband and their two children, Blake (10) and Gavin (8), Houser has deep roots in the community. A 2004 graduate of Bucktail Area Junior-Senior High School and a 2008 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Houser has more than a decade of professional expertise in human resources. LOCAL MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

Brendan Berthold is running for Lock Haven City Council. An instructional designer at Penn State University, Berthold helps professors design classes, using the latest technology effectively to create the coursework to educate students in the 21st century.
