On Saturday, March 28, approximately 300 people turned out for the No Kings III protest, held at Triangle Park in Lock Haven.
“We had over 300 in attendance at the No Kings III Protest and Festival today!” said Bre Brannan, chair of the Clinton County Democratic Committee (CCDC), on Facebook. “What a joyful event with music, vendors, face painting, bubble, inflatables and more!”
In addition to the typical signs, this gathering featured information tables, vendors and music by local band Echo & Sway. Indivisible, CCDC and Clinton County Democratic Women (CCDW) set up tables to share information and local resources and to help people register to vote. The Clinton County Community Food Bank set up to sell items and accept donation to support their weekly efforts. The CCDC and CCDW were also selling garden flags (for $25) and pins (for donations) that feature the Pennsylvania design of the Civil Resistance bird. (Note: The design can also be purchased on t-shirts and flags directly from Rachael K Creations.)
