Locals joined national No Kings 2.0 protest on July 4

On July 4th, the Clinton County Democratic Committee (CCDC) partnered with Indivisible of Clinton County for the No Kings 2.0 protest.

Held at the corner of Jay and Main Streets from 10-11am, about 30 people attended.

This protest built on the nationwide protests held on June 14, where 13 million people turned out, including more than 200 locals.

Held on Independence Day, the No Kings 2.0 protest was meant to draw attention to the fact that the United States of America has already declared its independence from tyrant kings, and citizens are not interested in going backward.
