LOCK HAVEN — Aly Di Costanzo of Lock Haven is running as a write-in candidate for Keystone Central School District’s Region VII (7) school board seat, representing Lock Haven’s 4th and 5th Wards.
In addition to having more than 15 years of accounting experience, Di Costanzo has managed multiple small businesses in Lock Haven for the past eight years.
“In my time here, I have fallen in love with Lock Haven, and I am dedicated to ensuring this lovely town continues to be a welcoming and inclusive environment,” said Di Costanzo. “Growing up, public school was my favorite place in the world. I was encouraged to read, learn, expand my horizons and ultimately learn about people and cultures that differ from my own experience, and it provided me with an expanded view of the world. I want to ensure my future children will be able to have the same wonderful experiences I did. The education system should lift children up and support them to grow and expand and is not the place for political agendas of any kind. We need to protect our education system and the sanctity of learning for future generations, so all children have the opportunity to fall in love with learning,” she said.
