Statewide Candidates Speak at Picnic in Lock Haven

Statewide Democratic candidates made Clinton County their dinner stop on the second leg of a 7-county weekend in Northern Pennsylvania.

Over 80 local democrats gathered to enjoy a picnic and meet with Eugene DePasquale, candidate for Attorney General; Malcolm Kenyatta, candidate for Auditor General; and Erin McClelland, candidate for Pennsylvania Treasurer. Keir Bradford-Grey, who ran in the primary for attorney general, traveled with the candidates this weekend to support the ticket and thank the voters of Clinton County.

US House District 15 candidate Zach Womer; Bill McGill, candidate for PA Senate 25; and Denise Maris, candidate for PA House 76 were also there to talk to local voters and hear their concerns. Maris said it was “Amazing and inspiring to see so many new and old faces at such an event.”

Clinton County Democratic Committee Chair, Bre Reynolds Brannan summed up the evening. “There was a great turnout at the picnic, and the energy was really electric. We’re excited to move forward with our new presidential candidate, along with our state, US House and local candidates.”
