Democrats Holding Events for Petition Signing to Get Candidates on the Ballot

The season for signing petitions for political offices begins on January 23rd and continues through February 13th. The Clinton County Democratic Committee is sponsoring two events for registered Democrats from Clinton County to add their names to petitions for people running for office. The petitions allow a candidate’s name to be placed on the ballot.

The the traditional Soup and Sign event will be held at the Dunnstown Fire Hall on January 30th from 5pm to 8pm.

Join us for free soup and homemade bread at the fire hall. Petitions for all candidates and delegates to the Democratic Convention in Chicago will be available. The soups include Chicken Corn, Chili, Ham & Bean, Italian Endive, Stuffed Cabbage, Vegetable Beef and Vegetarian. Take out quarts are available for a donation.

Petition signing continues with an evening of Music with Jason & Joel, Wednesday, January 31st from 6:30 – 8:30 at Avenue 209 Coffee House, 209 Bellefonte Ave, Lock Haven.

This is your opportunity to help place candidates on the ballot for the April 23rd primary.

More events are being planned for petition signing and will be added to this post as they are scheduled.
